This project involved fully remodeling the first floor, including removing the walls dividing the entry, dining, kitchen and living areas. A new open staircase was built which spanned the floors without intermediate support. The new design opened up views from one corner of the house to the other. The kitchen was expanded and remodeled including new flat panel walnut doors, open floating shelves with recessed lighting, and new quartz countertops with a waterfall island counter.
